Ongoing Relapse Prevention Group (ORPG)

 Prerequisites for the ORPG

You must:
1. Be a graduate if the How to Live in Recovery 10-week group or Individual Program.
2. Be interested in delving deeper into the recovery literature and studying the signs of relapse.
3. Be willing to purchase the 2 books that are used in this group.
4. Be able to print a few documents for this group.
5. Be able to commit to this once a week conference call.

​These groups are only for graduates of the HLR & the Individual Program

** Note these groups are a Gorski book study.  The Gorski book and one Recovery Support sheet are read.

  1. To receive continued support on your abstinence and recovery journey after completing your group or Individual Program.

  3. To learn about the disease of food addiction. (Gorski book and Support Sheets)
  4. To learn why we ate addictively. (High Risk List)
  5. To get phone numbers of supportive people. (Phone list)
  6. To be able to share at meeting(s) and support each other in a safe, comfortable, encouraging group with others who understand.
  7. To practice intensive care during your first 90 days by practicing exquisite self-care.
  8. To continue working on new positive attitudes and behaviors to live and grow in a recovery group.
